What is a bit surprising to me is they do not have a better tracking system. I can understand some delays due to the strike but why so much mystery about delivery??

Hope you hear soon Wayne.

Yeah, I saw that on the news last night Wayne. They are getting hit with torrential rains, mudslides, 100 kph winds, and typhoon warnings.

Maybe all that crappy weather out there is holding things up futher.

Yes, although it hasn't hit the city quite as bad. We were +16 and sunny yesterday and a nice day forecast today too.

Hope all is well there and K is eagerly awaiting the new ride too.

Is this situation affecting other makes of cars too? It is truly bizarre to say the least. Because assuming everything is backing up, the port is losing money hand over fist. Over a long period, shipping cos. will go elsewhere. Just think of Philadelphia and Brooklyn, their seeming invincibility a long time ago got them nothing today.

I agree, with logistics being what it is today. On my new car (sorry, just to contrast) I can punch the VIN# into the shipping carrier's website myself, and it shows when it was billed, and loaded onto the ship in Bremerhaven, and what ship. I can click and see the ship's schedule to Belgium, UK, NJ, SC, GA. Guys at e90post are tracking the ship's progress itself. Call up my saleswoman, and she had the same info on her screen. Not only that, she is pretty much handholding with me, giving me updates. They can check with the VPC in Jersey City to see what the holdup is if it's there more than 48 hours. Why can't Infiniti do that? Beat customers' expectations, and they will be even better. You have a great product, now offer great service. My .02......

My car is on a train as of Nov 14th in BC so it is on it's way. I still won't be driving it until the last week of November or the 1st week of December.

I have the 35% tint and the 3m clear bra lined up to be installed before I pick it up.

I sold my old Blizzaks and rims today and another fellow has spoken up for my clear corners and Z-tube.
I will order my new Blizzaks tomorrow and from then on :

I AM READY !!!!

BRING IT ON

Hi GEE35X, are you getting your tint done with the dealer? Do you get to choose the colour for the tint?

I am getting free tint from the dealer, I am going to get 3M clear bra done through the dealer as well.

Yes I am getting both done at the Dealer. They are using the same peeps that did my 05 so I am getting the same 35% tint and to be honest I don't even know what the shade is called, but it will be the same as I had previously.
This morning I talked to the 3M man who comes to the Dealer and he is going to do the regular 3M front end bra along with the full bumper wrap.
