07 Sedan will sell like hotcakes

I'm very impressed with Infiniti for the pricing on the 07 Sedan. What other car offers this much value for the money? And, the new VQ35HR engine is made in a brand new, state of the art factory. Good to see Nissan using their profits for developing better products and not just stashing the profits away. Can't wait to see the '08 Coupe!!!!

The only question that I'm dying to know is if the coupe will have the glass roof similar to the 6-series. Not that it would a major difference for me, but it would be even better.

I kind of wish the 2007 Infiniti G35 was more expensive. I don't want everyone to be driving one.

Here...closest dealer an hour away + American car capital of the world + lack of knowledge of Infiniti brand = My FX is treated like an exotic and G35s hardly exist.

It's nice having something that stands out a little. The city where I live is a blue collar city, so pretty much any Infiniti stands out. And like yourself, most people have no knowledge of the Infiniti brand here.

Btw, you'll have a great combo.....G35/FX. Mine is G35/QX4. I would LOVE to have an FX. Damn those are sexy!

Wow, that is strange. My friend said his town in northern NJ raised property taxes so not everyone could move into their town (with the avg. property tax at over 15k per year, they don't need to raise it to keep it exclusive). I don't like that attitude to be honest.

A Honda Accord represents a tremendous value, is not expensive, and has better resale than a BMW. Still, not everyone buys it. If I had an Accord I wouldn't mind if everyone else had one too. That's just me. And I wont be driving a G35 either.

I went to the dealer in Bloomfield. When the salesperson approached I politely said I'm just looking, not interested in driving it or talking about it (didn't have a lot of time, was meeting my g/f's g/f).

What shocked me were two things--the car on the lot had a window sticker of 40,200. It was AWD and probably had every option. The other thing that shocked me was the rear view mirror had an exposed wire running into it. Not only that, I could see 4 wires exposed as well going into the mirror, not even covered by a sheath. I hope that gets addressed into the production year, because that's not acceptable on a 40k car. The wire should be hidden. Also, the door panels did not have a quality that I would expect either. Both of these could be corrected very easily by Infiniti imho. Other than that, it was a nice car, but at 40.2k, it wasn't a bargain. I think a G35 equipped with only the options that a person needs could be a tremendous bargain (<= 35k).
