Thanks for the find.
I love this line..

The G35 has some nerve endings. The road is vivid in your hands, the engine screams. It's a more passionate appliance

Yes good find. Enjoyable read. I like this line.

A little aftermarket fiddling could really make this car cha-cha.

Great find. Thanks!

I really can't wait to check out the Navi system in this new G. Every single review to date has had nothing but great things to say about it.

I didn't fiddle much with it but at first blush it's awesome.

Dan Neil, the reviewer, won the Pulitzer Prize for criticism for writing cаr reviews. That's like winning the Nobel Prize in literature for writing soap operas. It's not impossible to do, but you have to be really, really good at it to pull it off. Neil is really, really good.

He missed a fairly big point ..... I quote from the article

Compared to the 2006 model, output has been raised 8 hp, which almost exactly nullifies the net weight gain of 48 pounds caused by chassis reinforcement.
If I recall correctly, the old model HP numbers were based on the older method of estimating HP -- not the stricter SAE method that is used for the 07 model.
So the actual difference in HP is more than just 8 !!

But nevertheless, it is a well written article (at least by newspaper car article standards !!)

Not to mention that the 298 was for coupes only and not for sedans IIRC...

Yeah, we're splitting hairs. To the original the point the difference is more than 8hp reported in the column. It's actually 13 from the 6mt and 31 from the AT.
