In fact, rims dont harm people, but big subwoofers and loud exhaust system do. So you should be flaming people that irritate other people.
What size rims are you on?

What the sex? Is everybody who owns a g35 dusshh bags, the guy is look for a serious opinion, he is at least smart enough to go on the internet and ask for peoples opinion. But, yeah man. I can't imgine 22's on my cars. If you want 22's and want to do the properly you will have to make other mods to the car, and if you push the car hard at all you will be going through rubber like crazy, And tires for 19's are expensive enough, 22's you must have a labron james income.
My honest opinion, I have have an 07 g35X tech package, and I think my car would look unbalanced or (wierd) with 22's. If you can get 20's on ther car with out mods do that.
I have 17's with my X, and will use those for my winter tires, I live in Canada. But for summer, I honestly was catious about a 19 inche rim. I will most likely go with an 18 inche rim, and for sure no more then 19" I deally, 18.5 would be great.
But for me, I have done a lot of research and tought about the AWD system, and I think 18's will be great for me, without doing mods, and not scracficing anything or the car, or wearing out my front end prematurely.
Also, for me I am very picky with the way things look, And I believe that depending on the size of the wheeling you need a certin proportion of sidewall. The bigger the tire the bigger the sidewall. And if you can fit 22's on a G35, you are going to have no sidewall, and to me it doesn't look good.
I would imgine I G35 with 22's to be really custom, and have the rims tuck up into the wheel well.
I would say if you could get 20's on there with no mods, use the extra space for you side wall, cause if it is drivin alot, the sidewalls up for a nice ride,
THink about it, Custom Puckup trucks have 22's or 24" on average, and that is big, and this car is not an S600 or M5, it is not even a full size sedan. Mid size.
I know you want 22's, cause it is the same as saying you got 15" sub woofers, overthetop. All you got think about is proportion, Rolls Royce believes strongly in their car design that a car has to look proportion, ANd you know the rolls royce Phantom, Rolls Royce claims that a cars wheel should be half the hieght of the car, therefore 2 wheels stacked ontop will go to the roof of the car. That is way the phantom has huge wheels, and those are 22"
The phanton is massive compare to our car. You can try that. Stack two wheel on top of each other, and when they reach the roof, you got you size.
Anyways, that should give you enough to make up your mind.
Bottom line, If you want 22" you are going to have to make other mods, don't expect a stright swap, and don't expect to car to handle and good as stock, if you just do a stight swap.
Take care.
