Problems with new XM activation on my new g35x

I got the invoice for XM nav traffic today. I called them up and asked them why I got an invoice (even though I was already told by another rep it that wasn't free). The rep today put me on hold and then came back and "fixed" the billing.
3 months free for both.
Their service is a bit... shady.

They moved it back from India to Arizona. You will now be talking with Jose. Speak slow and spell everthing out - nothing new.
I had the activation game as well. Got the dealer to make the call, then the dealer handed to phone to me and I spend a joyful 5 minutes giving my details. They refused to activate it unless I got the dealer to make the call. Next time, I will get my girlfriend to pretend to be the dealer.

I've complained a lot to the XM Regional Rep and XM itself is working on it. It is the job of the sales consultant to call up XM for you to reset the 3 month period then XM will contact you b/c they get the information when you pick up your vehicle.

I called one WEEK after i took delivery of the car and had no problems activating both traffic and radio.
it will show congestion, construction, flow of traffic (if available in your area) but it WILL NOT recalculate the route for you.

Ok...I am G newbie. I just bought a 04 G35. Missing a few features with the car but I love. My question is I press SAT on my radio and it states NO SAT. Being it says this I cant get the radio ID to activate XM. Do any of you guys no what my be wrong?

So I have the button but no activation? From what I have been reading the 04 come already prewired. I guess I will just go aftermarket and get it then I think..Looks like the only option..Any suggesstions anyone
