I've seen several people say it changes the shift points in the auto transmisson?

I didn't see anything in the owners manual about it changing the
shift points.

I drove around in DS mode today some and in normal driving I didn't
see it winding up more between shifts.

 

On my test drive, sport mode held the tranny in a lower gear when the normal mode would have upshifted. I didn't fool around with sport mode much, but the difference was quite noticeable in everyday driving.

 

Agreed - the shift points change, it holds the gear longer.

 

agreed as well. You should try using DS mode on curves to really notice the difference, although you should notice it downshifting respectively to how you brake as well.
