Anyone ever seen this??

http://www.vaistech.com/home.html

Guys,

This company offers OEM integration for displaying song info from your Ipod to your LCD screen (both nav and non-nav). Right now they only have it for Lexus/Toyota, but the page says they are working on Infiniti/Nissan and Acura/Honda. Any other company offer this feature for the Infinti today? Think it would be awesome if it worked!

Thanks

I'm gonna try and call them today to get an update on the possibility of an Infiniti version. Steering wheel controls are nice, but total integration would be awesome. I wonder if the lexus version also allows the integration of an aftermarket nav system. Can't imagine it would, but who knows?

I have the updated Navi [v6.0 I believe] in my RX350, so I cannot imagine that I would need to change it for it is the best system out there IMO. Since I ordered XM Sat from the factory, it came integrated into the OS anyhow. But I will say that if this operates as advertised, this would make it much easier to truly integrate aftermarket accessories as OEM - very cool.

Understood. I'm just thinking that if you don't have nav as a factory item (I'm not gonna get it on my G) that this may allow an aftermarket system to be integrated. Not the end of the world if I have to put a TomTom on my dash, but would prefer the clean look of an in dash solution.

Called the company out in Colorado. They expect to have this available for Infiniti's in 2007.
