Not sure if the copy of a copy would work. An original CD has TOC data that is cross referenced, but I might be wrong.

Just found in Itunes that yes you can burn CDs with text and appears the default is to have the option off.

Edit->Pref->Advanced->Burning

"Include CD Text"

I just tested it with the CD that wasnt working and this fixes the problem. The CD title shows up as your playlist title.

Exactly - you actually have to select this (sorry, didn't know the thread was still running). Also, iTunes will get the track names for you - and if they don't have the name (Gracenote), it will let you input the names. Works really well.

I noticed that someone mentioned .wma files. I burned a disc of .wma files and the player displayed an error stating that it was not a recognized format. Am I doing something wrong?

Did you burn an AUDIO CD or MP3 CD? This option is only under AUDIO CD.

I should have asked this ages ago but here it is...

Any ASIANS here? From day 1 (October 23) I have been trying to burn a CD with UNICODE file names so that Chinese characters will display on the screen.

So far they all appear as ???? or ____.

Any luck, anyone?
