I'm sure I'll copy some, but then I'll probably never update it and just use the CF. Did I read somewhere you can 2X the copy speed on the CD to music box?
I was in the same boat.....I only have an SD card reader in my laptop as well. I picked up an external USB card read off of eBay for $3.....so they are quite cheap.

I believe you are correct on the 2X copy speed.

It takes about 10 min to copy a cd to the Music Box HD. Not bad but I prefer the CF card. As posted earlier, I also wish Infiniti would would update the firmware for the CF reader, as you must be organized before copying tracks to the CF card otherwise the tracks will be out of order (even when numbered.)

Thanks 07G for the update. Makes me feel better about my G I'm picking up next week. I was really worried when I found out no MP3 in the rear 6 CD changer.

Was it only until a certain time? I fear I may have missed it.

Since we don't have a Fry's on the east coast, I settled for the 2GB Sandisk Ultra II CF card from Staples for $40/each (no rebates). I picked up 4 of them...lolz

This is the one I bought:

Wow! Sweet find, DaCurryman! Out of stock at Staples, but you can get 4% cash back from FatWallet.com. I am getting 2 cards from Outpost (Fry's) for $37.99 each, with free ground shipping! 2-Day shipping is only $7.21. Altogether, with CA tax, only $82.25 shipped.

Thanks DaCurryman, even with US$20 for international shipping the total comes to about CDN$65. Staples, Future Shop and Best Buy are all selling the same card for CDN$140!

Make sure it is not sent via UPS. They will add the 14%. Dell.ca had 2GB cards on for $59 (free shipping). I ordered one on Friday and it arrived Monday.

I thought the CF reader in the G35 requires Compact Flash Type I. Is the Ultra II a Type I ???
