07 G35 S Price Quote

Just got done at local dealership with my 07 g35s test drive...

I was quoted 38.7 for a Slate Blue g35S ALL options included(navi, back-up camera, etc.)

What do you guys think about the pricing?

Would love to hear back!

Thanks

Sounds like that s $1000 off MSRP if it is an auto. Pretty good deal, seems to be the going rate.

I got written quote of $31,763 for 2007 G35 Sport. No option since I don't need any. I think it's $1k over invoice. No lengthy negotiation at all...you just need to know who to talk to in a dealership.

I'd say that's an OK deal, around where I got mine for. I think 1k over invoice is bs.

I never just walk into a dealer and talk to the first guy who walks to me. I always talk to whoever "can" make real decision in deal, such as fleet manager or general manager. They are usually more willing to deal and they don't have to "uh, let me talk to my manager and I'll be right back...".

I almost feel I could got much better than $1k over invoice because his answer was too easy. Maybe I could got $500 over, but dont' really care...they got to make some money too to feed their family.

These days I rely heavily on e-mail to get the basic deal done before I even walk in.

My opinion is for 31,800, I too would not sweat it and it doesn't matter how much profit the dealership made. You're into the territory that a loaded Camry V6 would cost, and you're getting a G35 S. I'm going to see sometime if I can get that price, if so, I'll take one as an add'l car in the family. I can wait indefinitely so that should help. Hopefully some others will report that they got under 32k in the meantime to give credence...
