Hey guys, I noticed this morning that there were little spots all over my car, maybe like 20-30 in all, that looked like oily droplets..maybe tree sap? Well they didn't wash off in the car wash I just went to and I don't know what to do. I do want to wax/maybe zaino my car (I'm a newbie to this stuff...) soon, so I want to figure this out. with a bit of spit and rubbing, a couple of the spots came out but the outlines remained...it's very strange. I tried taking pics but as u can imagine it's hard to take the picture of a drop 1cm across on a metallic black car that's just been washed.
Anyway...any help identifying this mysterious thing will be appreciated..

First wash? My last two cars had oil spots from the dealer prepping them for delivery, gotta make those tires shiny! A couple washes and they were gone. Maybe a little more concentrated solution of cleaner? Windex?
Waxer
If they are kind of thick and sticky then its tree sap. If it's more like water spots then try a good polish or a clay bar.
If it's sap then yes it will leave a ring. What I found works really good is Xenit from Stones http://www.cleanitwithxenit.com/ it takes the sap right off and the ring plus any wax of course.
