Hot Air on Warm Restart?

A bothersome problem on the first gen G was the warm air that comes from the vents when you restart the car after it has sat for a short period of time after driving. This was a design issue that couldn't be resolved on the first gen car without turning on AC.

For the new '07 sedan owners, is this still a problem?

Thanks much.

what do u mean? if you mean that hot air actually enters the cabin while driving...then i have that problem. it's really annoying the cabin gets uncomfortably hot sometimes unless i lower the windows or turn on AC, i guess this might be the problem that you are talking about?

Yeah, that's pretty much the problem. But it only shows up after the car has sat for a short while after being driven, then you start up and drive again. If you select outside air vents rather than A/C, you get hot outside air coming in. If you turn on the A/C of course, it gets cool right away.

Probably has something to do with the heater core heating up the hvac plenum. Does it go away after a few minutes of driving.
