Even after 22 months of owning the M, I still 'sneak' up to the garage occasionally and admire it sitting there in its glory waiting for me......
so I grab a movie or a cd , get in and twiddle her ***** for a bit and she's happy again for a little while in her 'semi hibernation mode'.........
.......did I mention that this post might not be WS? lol.

Hahaha, I've snuck out for a few peaks in the garage as well Colin so don't feel bad.

Haha, and I thought a clipper was only a sailing vessel.
Yeah that was our first snow of the year on Monday and it was 8". We're nearly bare now though since it was sunny and 51 degrees today and rained some last night and late aft. today.
On the East Coast here it can be hit or miss on the snow thing. We've had some real heavy winters and also ones where we had no snow lasting more than a few days.

I guess that would be tough seeing your new beauty sit in the garage. That's to be expected I guess with winter coming on unless you invest in some winter shoes.
Hi Guys I just got home with the new X. It is awesome, just love it. Everything is what we expected and more.
We had a rough trip there with whiteouts and snow covered roads for half of the way, but once we got to Guelph the sun was shining and it was a great day there, very cold but the sun was shining on us as we recieved our new X.
Had a good Mini-meet with Colin and Ian and drooled over each others cars. Will write about our Mini meet in the Canada section later.
We drove the X home varying the speeds on the worsening roads as we got closer to home from 40 to 140 km/h. During the last 25 kms we were hitting the odd drift 10-12" deep and had to slow right down in some whiteouts with almost zero visibility. The X RULES
. But I was re-enforced with the fact that winter tires are a must and they will be going on in the next few days.
I'm going to have a couple brewskis now and supper so I will post my driving impressions and a few pics later.
I'm back, here are a couple of pics.
