so, maybe this is a stupid question but here i go. if you were to de-badge the infiniti symbol located on the trunk, would there be holes left over from the de-badging?

 

yup.

 

I would say with most certainty (based on previous models) that the emblems are taped. You will need a heat gun and floss to take them off.


No holes - that's the way they have been on all 03'-06' models thus far.

 

Anyone taking the I N F I N I T I badge on the rear taken off?

I really don't care for that. Would like to take it off without leaving scratches or marks.

 

Use a heat-gun to warm it up and then using a floss work your way sideways until the the letter comes off. Next, use your thumb to roll off any tape residuals. If they won't come off easily - warm them again using the gun.

Once done, wash, dry, and wax. Car is smooth like a baby's butt!

 

Ya i think i'm gonna take off the I N F I N I T I and the G35 off and just leave the infiniti logo on. I'll let u know when i do that and post some pic

 

That was coupe only.
03 & 04 sedans def have pins.
After that.... I'm not sure.

You should be able to tell by popping the inside lid trim off.

 

So the 07 Sedan has pins or holes on the emblems? i'm confused cause i want to debadge them as well. Do they have holes or not?

I don't know if they changed after that though.

It was the same with the body side molding on the sedan... holes behind the trim.
