I was out playing around with all of the settings in the car and I stumbled across an audio setting in the manual that I don't seem to have. On page 4-14 of the manual, it outlines a setting called Precision Phased Audio. I went through all of the settings but I don't have it. Now in the manual, it says "if so equipped".....so is this a feature included only on non-Navi models?

Audio as in SOW or Navi?

Shane, I'm guessing of course but that could be similar to my M's "Bose Ceterpoint" (also - if so equipped).

Its explanation is:

"When this item is ON, and exciting surround sound is generated from a traditional stereo recording"....

I've played with that setting somewhat and can attest to its affect on phase.

Undoutably that's true since it stated not on all cars.

I don't think so - I have premium w/o navi, and haven't seen this setting. And, it sounds like a surround sound option, and the 07 system is specifically not surround.

I saw this also, my guess it was something our systems were suppose to have but never made it. Maybe something that shows up later in the MY?

Colin, the "Bose Centerpooint" sounds like it is a version of Bose's simulated surround sound used in their Lifestyle Surround sound systems called Video Stage 5. I think that the precision phased audio option is something different, but I'm also guessing.

?? There are no Premium packages without SoW...if you mean non-Nav, that's me and my system doesn't have that setting.

When this item is turned to ON, super high pitch sound and super low pitch
sound are emphasized and midrange sound is played naturally.

but when is it equipped?

I meant to ask someone with out the SoW not with out navi, so I did mean with out the premium package. I don't think navi has anything to do with it.

Good to hear that I am not the only one that doesn't have this setting. I guess it is either a feature on the non-SOW stereo system or is a future feature.
