2007.5/2008 G35 Sedan Changes - Any Insight?

Does anyone have any insight on what changes will be made? I love the car but would be very disappointed if I made the jump and then find out the 08 is going to have the 3.7 liter engine being discussed. Also, does anyone know if they plan to add more lows to the SOW system on the 2007.5/2008 model?

If they put out 3.7L 6AT G35 Sedan or 3.7L 6AT M35 next year I'll be trading.

I like the 2007 G35 Sedan but a 3.7L 6AT would just be irresistable.

In 2003.5 they got rid of the doggy door. You think they'll do the same w/ the chrome lip spoiler? Maybe they'll learn that its not well received by the general public.

I hope they get rid of the stupid OEM spoiler - not the chrome lip, the optional one that sits on top of it. I also hope they add native DVD video playback and 6 disk in-dash changer.

Oh yeah, the most important one - WE WANT THE RECLINING REAR SEATS BACK!!!! I am not trading our 05 sedan for a 07/08 until we get the reclining rear seats in the new car.

and maybe for 2010 it might have 425hp twin turbo ... so might be a good idea OP to wait a litttle longer.

Can't tell if you're joking or not. I could care less about the rear seat - I'll be in the front seat.

Maybe Sukairain has some other purpose for the reclining rear seats ... if you know what I'm talking about. Just kidding ...

I too love the chrome lip. Don't change that. As far as the reclining seats go, they had to get rid of them due to headroom loss from new design. I'm cool with losing rear recline capability in favor of the new design. I don't sit back there anyway.

reclining

I've had an original '03 sedan for almost five years now. I gotta tell you, aside from the novelty value, the reclining rear seats are never used. My passengers try the reclining feature out, say "Oh, okay, yeah" and then set them back to vertical and never touch them again. A fun novelty, a brag factor, but a waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

Only reason I dont like that chrome spoiler is because it doesnt leave room for an aftermarket lid spoiler

This car is too sleek and classy to have a scar like an aftermarket spoiler.
