front plate mount

How is the front licience plate mounted? Do they drill holes in the front?? I heard that's what they do for the Lexus ISx and alot of people are complaining about that, especially in CA where apprently the dealers have to do it by law.

yup, it's screwed in. there was talk about being able to use the tow hook with a product by Stillen, but I don't think it's been confirmed/finalized yet. If you search, it's in one of these threads...

My dealer is not drilling the holes (Texas), and Stillen already has a product that can be used, which as noted screws into the tow hook port. They don't have a 2007-specific one yet, but the current one will stick out an inch apparently, and is def better than having the dealer drill holes. Perhaps if you're in that situation you could show up with it, and stop the dealer?
