G35S electronic throttle stumble?

On my 07G35S 6mt, Ive noticed that occationally, Ive caught the drive by wire throttle naping. It feels like when you step into an AT car and it has to kick down a gear to get going or a stumble like a cold carb engine. Anyone had the same experience?

Thanks

Jpr

I think it's typical of a D-B-W system to have such occasional hiccoughs, espcecially since the car is brand new, and all the computers are in the 'leaning mode'.

Look here in this thread for a very brief rundown on some of the learning parameters and procedures involved:

https://g35driver.com/forums/faq-diy/6538-ecu-resets.html

If the condition worsens, a CEL will be generated at which time a trip to the dealer is necessary to first find where the issue is and then fix it.
(unless you have a scanner of your own)..

Welcome, JPR, and please follow up with some feedback on the issue.

C.

Sometimes when it needs to downshift into 2, it'll go into 3 for 2 seconds THEN go to 2...This has happened 2 times so far and I don't like it...

I have had a MT6 for about a week so I'm obviously in "break-in mode", but I haven't noticed any "throttle lag" yet.

I have ran 2nd, 3rd and 4th from around 1k to around 4K numerous times trying to build as much cylinder pressure for break-in as I can.

Please continue to post your observations to see if anyone is experincing similar issues.

Welcome!
