Uneven or even tint?

I'm getting ready to tint my 07 G folks but I'm undecided wether to go with a even lighter tint all around or uneven tint, darker in the back.

Personally I like even tint around all windows (the back glass can be darker if needed)

i think its a matter of taste

Go even all around. The darker in the back looks like crap to me.
You can do your back window darker but not the sides.

I'd go with light tint, even % on sides and back

I think tint looks great, and have had cars with 5% on sides and back even though it meant driving with windows half-way down at night. Uneven tint looks too disjointed in my opinion, so I'd sacrifice some darkness in the tint for an even appearance. Plus, I feel that very light, even tint looks elegant.

I much prefer an even tint across all side windows.

While even tint all around looks much better, there are places like where I live that there is no tint allowed at all on driver and passenger windows. Just to avoid any issues with the police, on my 03 I had darker tint on my rear windows and lighter on the front driver and passenger windows. I will be doing the same thing to my 07 in the spring......probably 25% on the rear and 50% on the front.

Definately a matter of taste, but I prefer the same tint all the way around.

I'm running uneven tint around my car... 15% in the front and 5% in the back... I think it looks nice...

if you can also try and get your tint window shaved, which basically means they sort of melt it to the very edge of your window and clean shave it off so you can't see where the tint ends at the top of the window. i saw it on my friends car and it was a really clean job compared to the other tint jobs where you can see the window tint line

Even all the way... even if you have to go lighter.

It is illegal to tint the side windows here.

Go with even. Looks classier. Doing different shades for different windows reminds me of Limos or SUVs with the rear part of the car shaded for privacy.

It's a matter of personal preference of course. I much prefer an even look all around and can't see a reason for having darker rear windows, unless you are a limo shuffling important people around.

IMHO, even tint looks classier, more of a balanced look and less like a limo. It's also less obvious you have have tinted windows in areas where you have laws prohibiting front tints.

If I lived somewhere with tint laws on the front windows, I think I would go without tint on any windows, rather than just tint the back ones dark. Looks like an SUV.
