Uneven or even tint?
#16
The tint shop I would use told me that if I get pulled over I can get either a ticket (about $150) or a warning. If you take the warning, you have 48 hours to have the tint removed. He told me that they have had their 2 company minis tinted for about 3 years and only recently got their first ticket. IMO, tinting my front windows isn't worth that hassle and expense. I decided not to tint any windows because I think it looks funny when only the back is tinted.

Sucks to be in Nor Cal, but I don't like cars with dark tint in the front anyway. Too dangerous as the visual communication between you and the other drive becomes one-way. I got 50% in the front, 30% rear sides, and 20% rear windshield. I prefer my back dark (but still transparent), although an all-around light tint is pretty nice, too.
