I'm in the Bay Area and am thinking about purchasing a 07 G35. Did you get a good price on the car from Oakland Infiniti? Do you mind me asking what you paid?

Thanks in advance!

I almost ordered the G from Oakland as well. One of the sales ladies offered me a fantastic deal ($2500 off), but when I told them that I needed to hold the car for two weeks they said it was too long (even with a deposit). For whatever reason, they only hold cars for one day. So I got another dealer to match their price.

Nice ride! You came from a 7th Gen Civic also? I had a 2001 EX before getting my G.

P.S.: What is that smiley face on your navigation?

yah i came from 7thgencivic - owned a 2002 civic sedan, traded it in at the dealer with a not-so-bad price (especially with mods and double-din gps)

the smiley face is one the locations i entered to the address book and you could assign an icon to it and i picked the smiley face

the car care is quite expensive but i got suck in because they gave me discount and told me the monthly payment doens't go up that much. it's basically put more wax to protect the car paint and something else to protect the leather inside the car. If something happen to the paint or the leather, they could fix it for free or just replace it.. another thing about the car care is you won't get stain with the leather (he also said it will keep you the car value up when you sell it.. will see about that)
as for the silent security thing, they just edge a number in the window in case it got stolen, the cops can track it and kind of prevent thefts because they put label on the window (will see about that too)

Just keep in mind that with the Infiniti car care package, you will not be able to put any wax or polish over the protective layer they put on. I like detailing my car myself so I declined the car care package.
