I came from a 2008 TBSS and now have an 05 G35..Id say its a downgrade, but not much of one. Currently in the process of purchasing a home so had to cut some costs somewhere.

I had a 1997 Lexus LX450, got rid of it for my 07G35x. Overall definitely an upgrade, but the LX was fun.

Before I bought SLICK I was lovin life driving my '92 Nissan 300ZXTT Pearl Cherry with twin K&N intakes, HKS exhaust and 18X8.5" custom wheels sporting as always 245/45X18" Michelin's on all four corners. With 125K miles on her clock I was ready to try something else. She's still on the road but not being cared for like I always did.

My 2007 G Coupe is an upgrade for me. Previously owned a 2006 Altima 2.5 with 120K miles. Actually, I enjoyed the Altima. Absolutely no problems at all. Miss the Altima gas mileage but love the performance of the G coupe. Initially, I was looking for a 350Z. My wife didn't want a Z and she brought up the idea of a G Coupe. She didn't have to twist my arm long for me to change my mind from the Z. LOL!

As I scroll through the postings there are many G drivers, that like me, previously owned Nissans. One of the main reasons I chose to go with the Infiniti was, obviously, the styling and performance, but also the fact that my past experience with Nissan was remarkable. I'm curious, those that owned Nissans in the past, how much of a role did the Nissan play in your decision to purchase your G?

new guy here and first post . I came from a '99 BMW M3 (E36) and had so many issues with that car. Before that I had an '89 BMW 325i (E30) that was relatively painless for its age. I've had my '07 G35 for 6 months now and absolutely love it. My first Nissan and I am definitely a Nissan fan. Reliable, fun, comfy, fast. What more can I ask for?

Funny, I had a 91 2+2 in super white. Similar mods too Had plans for a V8 swap but decided to get something newer as a more reliable daily.

I can say my previous Nissan influenced my purchasing decision. It was reliable, nimble, and cost effective. I got my money's worth out of it considering what I paid and how long I drove it (8 years, still running). The only Nissan dealership I've visited has screwed me over on multiple occasions and for that, I will choose not to recommend or comment on them. I wanted similar features with 300+ horsepower, RWD, and a 6 speed manual. I think I found one or something close too it! . That referenced Nissan dealership screwed me on this car too. I'll never go back there again even with a free oil change voucher on hand.
