Upgraded from a Subaru WRX wagon, 2005, with plenty of upgrades. The g35x is definitely an upgrade, classy car, much more grown up IMO.

I came from a 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V Turbo

and a

2008 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE Coupe.

I like my G35X and some days I find myself thinking i should have got the manual. But I am overall pretty happy with it.

I love DSM's. I upgraded from an SC400 but here's my other car. It's healthy

If you put a snow tire on it then it may be one of the best winter vehicles you have ever driven, including your truck (unless it has snows too).
I had LM22's on my X. When we had snow storms, leaving 12" snow in the roads, I could go and stop without a problem. My neighbours in their minivans couldn't get out of their own driveways.

I recently had a Boxster "S", but got tired of storing it for the Ohio winters and driving my older SUV. A few years back I had an Audi A6 turbo, which I loved, but the new body style turned me off. I wanted something that no one else in my area had so I chose the G35x and couldn't be happier I originally was going to get a Acura Tl-s but after driving one, the front torque steer really turned me off. 3 times as many of them with salvaged/wrecked titles on ebay than any other car in its class due to Torque steer.

Needless to say, I do miss my Boxster, but I have absolutely no regrets with my G35x

Boxster S is faster 0 to 60, around low to mid 5s in 0 to 60, where my G35x is closer to 6s. The problem with the Boxster is Porsche won't put a bigger engine in it as nobody would buy the 911. Where the Box shines is in the curves and braking. . Unbelievable in the twisties due to the mid engine 50/50 weight distribution.
