My last three rides-
-06 IS 350, which I sold in 08
-09 Acura TSX, sold this year
-07 G35 S, purchased in April

Downgrade from the IS, but major upgrade from the Acura.

I have a G35, not a G37. The IS was an awesome car, much lighter and more agile than the G...very fun to drive. The fit and finish was excellent. The only negatives were the back seat leg room and the navigation. I do enjoy my G35, but i will probably go back to Lexus once im done with the G.

Came from a 2001 Audi A6 tt the only thing I miss is how comfortable the seats were, the seats on the coupe really suck I don't like them but I love the body of the G!

First a 1992 G20, and then a 1994 G20t for many years total... I do miss it. Pretty much they same interior feel. I think i'm done with Infiniti after this.

My previous car was a fairly bare bones 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro (totaled by a drunk girl rear ending me). I feel like I'm getting a lot more for about the same money (albiet 3 years later) with my 2008 G35x w/ Premium/Nav.

The only sense in which my G35x might be a downgrade is in the AWD department. Perhaps it's just tires or something, but driving the audi on snow felt pretty much like driving on asphalt. With the infiniti, I find that the rear end is slipping considerably more. I've only had the car a week, so perhaps it's just that I'm still a little throttle happy!

I don't think I could ever own another small car again after being in the G. It is soooo much more roomy. I mean, in my little subaru I had my passenger seat removed just so I could get my daughters car seat in because the damn seat would not move forward enough!

I had a 2005 A4 Quattro 3.0... When it comes to AWD Audi wins every time. Mine was pretty dang reliable too, it went to a dealer twice. Once for glove box being stuck and for O2 sensor both covered under warranty. Interior finish was crap just like my 2007 G, all the painted parts peeled off. Somehow A4 felt more solid inside though.

I envy my coworkers IS whenever I ride in it. It is SO comfortable, fit and finish is great and it's even got cooling seats. From the driving perspective G is definitely more exciting but if I had a choice again I would try the IS.

I am a Lexus fan but sorry, this is not a fair comparison. You're comparing a car that cost 5 grand more (base price alone). Put 5 grand into your G and tell me that it doesn't drive as well if not better than the Lexus. Sorry but I'd rather save that money and buy a G37 with more power, masculinity (IMO), and room than the lexus. That is probably why the G always outranks the IS. By the way I came from a 2006 Scion tC all modded out.
