Came from an 02 Nissan Maxima, lightly modded to a 08 G35x Sport. So I'd consider that a significant upgrade.

You don't know who was driving your truck?

I did know, her and i dont hang out anymore so its just "some chick" now. Got almost $20k for that truck and it had $85k miles. Bought it new in 2004 for $25k. Talk about holding its value!!

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post and my first week with my new-to-me 08 G35xS. I came from a 2000 Audi A41.8T of which I was the original owner and I had modded to the bejesus (before I had kids and actually had spare $$ for mods ...) That car was totalled two weeks ago.

Honestly, I prefer the dash styling and instrument layout of the 00 Audi to almost anything on the market today, including the 12 Audi. Other than that, the G is a total upgrade and I don't really feel a need to mod anything.

Enjoy your cars!
David

Hi everyone,
I'm enjoying my 2008 G35s Sedan I come from a Mazdaspeed6 (1 of 5000 copies in the US). It went zoom-zoom-KABOOM! Mods were/are suspension pieces, better breathing, intercooler upgrade and a Mr. Church Tune with Cobb AP).
Luxury G35 hands down UPGRADE!
Power about par
Handling ??? we will see.

Overall very happy with the G it's my first Nissan product.

BTW, love the fact that the World Champion F1 Redbulls have Infiniti sponsorship.

I've been busy reading up on all the stuff available for the car. Lots of useful info here.

Thank you all in advance. Looking forward to lots of fun in the G35.

Y

Welcome here!
My other car was also a mazda with the mazdaspeed3 2007. I also had the cobb AP, ets intercooler, 3" cpe turbo-back, twm short shifter and some other goodies. I miss the feeling of a turbo engine and the great handling of that car but that's all. My X is more roomy, luxury and a lot more fun in the snow with the awd and not much worst MPG. An upgrade for me.
And the sound of the V36 is so great to hear at high rpm

Thank you, Boarderline.

I don't miss the turbo as much as the AWD and the SS from TWM. I know I'm in Souther CA, but hey I like the control factor. It's been a while since I've managed a RWD car so I'm familiarizing myself with the go pedal.
Thanks again, I'm reading a whole lot about so much more stuff for this car than my MS6. But, I'm banned from any type of mod, well maybe some sway bars or springs. I wonder if there are some springs with minimal drop, but linear and just a little bit stiffer? Must keep reading.....
Keep warm up there!

97 altima that leaked more oil and tranny fluid than it burnt gas....words can't describe how I felt when the sales man threw me the keys. For me it is like driving a phantom.

From a 02 Ford Explorer with a 3 inch body lift on 33s. Before that 95 Eagle Talon 5 speed, stock. A deer at 80+mph killed that one. Before that 96 Eagle Talon with full exhaust, port and polished intake manifold, CAI, plugs/wires and all that stuff. Pretty quick little thing. My brother hit 5 deer in four months while I was in basic training in Fort Leonard Wood, MO. 93 Celica all-trac, put that one into a concrete culvert. 94 Mustang. 93 Probe. And the first...93 Thunderbird Super Coupe. And I'm 24. so that's 8 cars in 8 years. Had the G for a year and a half now.
