98' Maxima SE to 07' G35x. The Maxima still runs great and I will probably keep it forever.

Gave up my 96 240sx with widebody kit, rb25det, and all the supporting goodies for the 2003 G, debating if it was right move since this thing is auto-tragic! My DD is a 2004 dodge ram 2500. I'm planning a manual swap to happen soon. Don't flame, it's not my DD (just my toy) and It has a rebuilt title so just trading it in for a 6MT doesn't really work. Just got tired of a project. The G is way more refined. Now I want it to go sidewayz.

Hello Everyone! I recently joined the infiniti g35 family. I god rid of my 2005 mitsu evo Gsr (sunroof, sound, leather) package. And I upgraded to a 2007 g35X fully loaded.
With that said here are some pics of the evo, and also of the g35X including the first mods today after owning it for three weeks.
Now Here is the g35 after fresh install of front lip and roof spoiler.

thanks.... I do miss the evo. I wish I would have been able to keep it... Very good car, but I felt like I outgrew the racing scene... but definitely loving the G35... just missing some wheels and I'm all done.

Ya for me, my next car had to be an evo(prob a 9, maybe 8 if i found one in good shape) or the G.

is your G a 6mt? I came from a lightly modded (intake/boost control[14 psi, up from 9]/blow off) 93 3000VR4 so i share the mitsu love with ya. 6mt was a must. I'm only 20, and although I feel pretty classy rolling around in my second gen G, I don't think I am too old to rock a turbo'd 4 beater

The G is great though and I have no regrets, and am often very impressed by its performance but my next car is def gonna be a lighter sports car. prob the next gen Z in about 5 years. (crosses fingers for a turbo)
