1998 Maxima SE

Back when it was new I thought it was the hottest thing on wheels LOL. I really miss the cup holders on that car

 

some may say that going form a 2001 BMW 740i sport to a 07 G35 would be a downgrade. I thought so too but in terms of driving pleasure, the G35 is on the same level of the 740. The 740 was way more luxurious and a much bigger car, but the G35 is almost there for me.

 

an 03 Mitsu Evo with 500whp... I miss the power of the car never had any issues with the car except the 4th and 5th gear syncros. Performance wise even stock the evo was much more fun to drive, the g35 coupe is a much nicer overall car.

 

Downgraded from a 2005 S4 with a lot of mods.

 

Went from 02 WRX w/ Cobb Stg 2 & suspension mods to the 07 6mt sedan. Performance wise, I do not feel I have missed a step. Everythng else, the G is an infiniti-ly nicer car. Seems like lots of WRX ers did the same thing, I loved the subie but Subaru does not have a "next step" car in performance and class.

 

Not to call you out because I dont give a **** but if you are 24 how could you own it for 30 years?

 

My last ride (which still has my heart) was a 1990 300zx twin turbo...engine blew out a few years back, I convinced the mechanic to bore out the cylinders, and then tossed in some SGP turbos...had a bunch of other stuff done to it, figure it made around 375hp at the rear wheels. Great car, then some punk *** stoner tourist kids on the way back to Sacramento ran a red light and caused this...

 

1998 Sentra ----------> 2002 altima 2.5S -------> 2005 Altima 2.5 SL ------------> 2007 G35X premium/nav/tech.

I guess I'm a fan of Nissans!
The Altima was a very nice car and I miss the space but it's definitely an upgrade in terms of power/technology/luxury

 

2004 RX8 Grand Touring.. Definitely an upgrade to move to the G35S

Traded in my 2001 S2000 for 2007 G35 Sport Sedan... We just had a baby and its so much safer now than my ol' go-cart S2K

 

Okay, I definitely down graded in the performance category by a long shot, but I upgraded in the looks & luxury category. I actually opted for the 5AT over the 6MT and am happy that I did.

I came out of a 420WHP 06' STI that was a complete BEAST
