I have been driving a 2000 Honda Accord LX V6 Coupe... (man, that was long). I've been driving that since I was in high school for about 7 years.

For the past 3 (give or take) years, I've been saving money for a new car, and I just had to pull the trigger when I saw my baby now.

07 G35S are so so so beautiful.

I'm coming from a 2003 BMW 745Li
It was a great car when it wasn't in the shop. I was also very dissapointed with things like cell phone integration, etc.

I got tired of BMW quality, and lack of service and decided to try Infiniti. I was originally looking at the M, but all the new tech on the '07 caused me to give it a look. I also thought it would be fun to try something with a little better handling then the bigger cars.

Price/class wise: Big downgrade to the G

Performance: Horizontal - both are mighty quick. (The 7 might be a tad quicker 0-60, but the G will outmanuever it because of the shorter wheelbase)

Satisfaction: So far it's an Improvement (although I've had the car for less than a week)

 

Upgraded from a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder LE

 

came from lexus is300...to a 04 g35 coupe

 

From 04 G35 6MT coupe -> 07 G35x sedan

Some might not think this is an "upgrade" but I do. Both cars have their own merits, but the RWD of my coupe was just too impractical here in the NE. My new one is so sweet!

 

Traded from a 2004 Audi S4 Avant. The G35S has the same performance more or less, is much cheaper, and so far I have no regrets except for giving up the Alcantara seats.

i traded it in when i got my 07' G dealer gave me about 49.95 for it

2000 Maxima. I really liked that car but it had 110K miles on it and started making weird noises which I didn’t want to spend money on fixing. So I traded it in as a down-payment for my 07 G35X. And I had 5% tint on it all around – it was BAD A**!

 

2003 350Z --> 2001 Corvette Z06 --> 2006 Altima (uh-oh) --> 2007 G35 6mt

Tried to save money with a reasonable car - got tired of seeing 3 or 4 at every intersection. Had to get back to something that was fun to drive.

 

^^ lol what Altima did you get? 3.5SE? Our 05 SE-R 6MT is still nice, I don't see them much around here.
