2004 Lincoln Aviator Ultimate => 2005 G35x => 2007 G35 Sport.
Amazing car. I have a 99 Mustang Cobra sitting right next to the G in the garage, and the G will leave the stang in the dust.

Is the Cobra really slower than the G? I have been looking at getting a Cobra. Most likely from that year that you haveOriginally Posted by Lords47

Big upgrade for me. I went from a 1997 Maxima 5-speed to the 07 G35 6MT. When I bought my first Maxima SE (1989) 5-speed, Nissan promoted it as a 4-door sports car. The 07 G35 6MT is now what the Maxima used to be, a true 4-door sports car.

Turned in my leased WRX Sti, it was a fun car, but my wife didn't like to drive it. It was also a stick and I wanted an automatic because I have a stick in my 911. Performance wise the G is a little slower than the Sti but major upgrade in luxury, ride, features.
Should be here this Saturday can't wait!

I feel like it is. The stang is really a different class to compare, but its only got an extra 14 hp stock (320 hp stock for 1999/2001, though mine has a few mods). But the cobra is definately a heavier car.

It was deffinitly an upgrade for me. As you see in my sig, I came from a 2004 Dodge SRT-4. It was maybe slightly faster (12.9 @ 107mph) but not so much to care about. G is much nicer and feels just as fast.

Sold an 02 996 C2 for this car. Other than brand prestige, The G is much more comfortable, luxurious, and techo advanced. I do miss the sharpness of the 996, but I am very happy with my decision to give it up. Some day I will get another pcar, cab next time!!
