I treaded in a 2000 Mercedes E320 sport
Yeah different then the Mercedes I got rid of. Yes the Mercedes was quiet, fast enough, and basically smooth. My G35 is not as refined, not as smooth or as quiet. It is however quiet enough, smooth enough, but sure is fast for a four door. I think the G35 is an eye catcher and yesterday at the local mall I noticed people all over a G37 on display. The G is just a great looking car. It was a trade off and with the navigation package, bluetooth it felt like an upgrade in tech that I use on a regular basis.

Mercedes= always at the stealership getting little things fixed...if they can figure out how to fix the damn thing.

2007 Infiniti G35 Journey= now with 12,200 miles still totally trouble free, just oil changes thus far. Oh and my friends love the growl when I am on the gas through the speaker phone. A G35 is a sports car in a four door suit.

89 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera and 97 Acura Integra GSR. Not as tossable but faster than both and less dramatic cornering than the P-car. Haven't gotten close to the limit yet and really don't want to get there unless I'm on a track. Always knew where the limit on the P-car; the front end always told you what it was doing. Refinement... that's for p*ssies!!! . All that BMW ultimate driving machine BS ain't worth sh*t. The P-car was raw and the G has a a little bit of bit.

Came from 01 330Ci. I miss that car but my new ride (08 sport, manual) is pretty damn good. Can't wait till the break-in is over.

I came from a 94 single turbo supra.

Big downgrade in the performance department, but I "felt" I was getting old and needed something more tame. Now I kinda regret it.

I was looking into picking up a 335i coupe, but I needed a car ASAP and at the time, they were impossible to find.

Here's what I had in the past:
94' Single Turbo Supra
95' SC300 5spd
93' MR2 Turbo
86' Corrolla GTS
86' MR2 n/a
95' Integra GSR

I feel as if I've been on the upgrade since I started driving. Here is my list:

1983 Volvo DL Station Wagon (Auto)

1991 Volvo 740 Turbo Sedan (Auto)

1998 Acura Integra LS (Auto)

2005 Acura TSX (Auto)

2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe (6MT)

I have to admit though...I do miss my TSX from time to time. It looked awesome and I ALWAYS had people staring at my car. The G does attract some people now that I put a nice front lip and Kenstyle rear to complement my Invidia Catback, but its not dropped or have a nice set of shoes, so it doesn't get that snap your neck feeling from people.
