From a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited 5MT to a 2008 G35S 5AT. The fit, finish and features are worlds above. Now I just need to make my homelink work, tried a few times already. It will not beat me.

I went from a 2005 BMW 545i to a 2008 G35X. The BMW was a pleasure to drive, when it was not in the shop, it was horribly unreliable. The G35X feels just as fast, it doesn't have as many options as the bimmer did though. AWD is going to be great for our West Michigan winters, and my hope is that the G will be a lot more reliable.

From a 2005 Legacy GT 5MT.. I think so far its a slight upgrade, but I'll see after my first winter. I am a big subaru fan though.

I liked it but wanted something a little more relaxed. Got an 08 G35X w/ 25K miles.

I was tired of shifting, the suspension was punishing, etc. fine for a 25 YO but gets a little old when your 40 and you use it as your daily driver.

Upgraded from a 2000 Toyota Tundra SR5 AC -> 08 G35SMT. I just got tired of driving a truck around, I still have it though, for now. I also used to have a Accord 03 5MT/navi that my ex has. I have to say the nav in the honda accord in 2003 is about as good as the 08 nav in my g35. It seems honda is quite a bit ahead of nissan in that dept.

But nissan v6 engine is the prize here

Funny when I was shopping, I was considering a 09 MS3 6MT (2010+ are ugly). I just couldn't do FWD again. I'm 36, and felt I'm getting a little old for a WRX or MS3 type car. Also the G35 insurance is TONS cheaper than WRX or MS3 - like 3x cheaper for me!

I was also an owner of a ms3 before my X 2008. I have my x for 1 year now and I have no regrets. The mazda was a fast and very fun
car to drive but I like my G as much considering I'm now 35 years old and like the luxury features I didn't got in the mazda. And the X is much more fun to drive in winter. what I miss is the fuel consumption...

I now have an 07 sedan S and love it. I cant wait to continue with my upgrades. Love all the features of this infiniti, ive always been a honda and acura guy but now im hooked to infiniti.

Funny you said that! My friend is looking into the 2011 Genesis Coupe and I'm trying to steer him away from a Hyundai and getting a used Infiniti instead.
How come did you have to replace all the parts so soon? What caused them to break/malfunction?

yeah I think the WRX, and esp. the Sti where by far the highest rates. I guess people love to race those, so that's why. Although I did some searching on a g37 sedan, average insurance rate is 2400 a year, is that right? Why so expensive?
