That is really a shame. No doubt about it, it's tough to own something of value as some a$$hole is always bound to vent his/her pathetic frustrations.

I had 2 massive (think ball peen hammer size) dents put into my last car. Came from people opening their doors with little regard to anyone else who might be in the way.

Sorry you have to endure this crap.

Could be someone who works in an area bodyshop drumming up a little business for the new year.

Can't think of any others ATM but I'm sure there's plenty.
The OP is in Florida, seemingly the crime capital of the US. Hear about the mall shooting yesterday?

Do Bimmers ever get keyed? Seems like it is always G's.

I hope the repairs come out great. Don't let some @sshole ruin your Holidays.

Thanks for all of the empethetic words. My wife and I were determined not to let it spoil our Christmas and every time I go to get in it now to drive it my jaws get tight. The real question now is what will it take to repair it?

I very much doubt you'd be happy with anything less than a repaint on that one side.........
It's metallic paint -- so if only the door panels are done, it may not look right.

See what the body shop says, but I think they'll recommend that to you.

G/L, and have a great Christmas anyway......

C.

Does insurance usually cover these Random Acts of Idiocy? Or is it usually left to the poor guy whose car gets keyed to foot the bill for a full side repaint?

I just don't understand why people insist on expending the energy on doing mean/bad things to other people and their valuables. It shows the general lack of respect people have for each other these days. What a bummer, especially on the holidays (respect should be year-round).

I hope that you can get the damage somewhat repaired. Does Infiniti have touch-up paint to match? Again, really sorry to hear about your G.

That is horrible! I would be irate if I were you, but you can't let it ruin the holidays. Any chance the store had security cameras on the parking lot? I would definitely look into that.

I totally feel you... My 2001 Civic got keyed like 3 times... It's so disheartening. That's what I fear most for my new G...

Is it very bad to say that person who keyed your car should get run over by a G?

Sorry if I offended anyone by saying this.

That just totally sucks. You can't have anything decent anymore without some a$$hole taking their frustrations about their lives out on you!

My dealer offered a scratch and dent package, along with the other usual packages. I opted for that one only. I hope I NEVER have to use it!

My hopes that your G is made new again!

Actually, I wouldn't.. Why? I'd probably do something stupid and cause myself problems... I love my car, but not enough to face felony assault or murder charges. Know what I mean?

Sorry to hear about this - like GC said - I don't understand what motivates people to do stuff like this..

Movig On

The good news is that I have $0 deductable on my comprehensive insurance. It may be a pain in the A$$ but at least it won't cost me an arm and a leg too.

What the????!

None of us here can take away your damage or frustration. It's plain stupid, and nonsense.

Hopefully you know that we feel your pain. Shrug it off I guess, don't get yourself down over some idiot's actions. Good luck.
