does anyone know what % tint the windows come with? I wanna see if I can get by legally with Huper 30 since thats about 33%

I always thought stock G's had no tints as I can clearly see right through both windows without a problem.

I see a tint, not a lot but the windows are tinted.

 

I don't believe there is a legal standard for tint (it varies from state to state), so I would assume the factory will not install tint (at least not on the drivers and passagers windows).

 

They are UV glass, All glass looses some light transmission and without over head light in the car, it will look even less from the outside, but there is not tinting.

 

What I wanted to know is the amount of tint I can put on this car. I had to deduct about 5% when I tinted my VW. Hence I got the 40% Madico Charcool then back then so its around the 35% MA state limit. I probably didnt use the right lingo regarding "factory tint", but you know what I mean...

I think the windows on the G has some blue in it plus the light loss is slightly noticable. Just wanted to see if anyone here knows the facts to that. It definitely would be sweet if I can put the Huper 30 on it instead of the 40.
