Question for '07 G35 Sedan Sport owners

What have you all done to your cars? I'm picking mine (Sport sedan 6mt black/black) next week and would like to get a good feel of what other people have done to their cars. Just sedan owners please. Thanks.

To be honest, the only thing I have done to my G in one month of ownership is drive it. Actually, I take that back, I put G35Driver decals on it and a G35Driver license plate frame.

Tint and clearbra will go on sometime between now and spring.

Very little so far...

I got a Sport AT in Black Obsidian with Stone interior. I sprung for the clear bra, but aside from that haven't done a thing. I wasn't really sold on the wheels before getting the car, but they've really grown on me so I'm not interested in changing them although some of the folks here have gotten great looking rims for their G35s.

I'd only be tempted to modify the car if I found a nice mesh grill or a painted roof spoiler. It would look fantastic if it were lowered an inch, but I'm reluctant to do that.

Only exterior mods are available that I know of. I took my '07 to a pretty well respected shop in the DC area and mine was the first '07 sedan they have seen. So, it will take a while for performance mods to hit the streets.

JMZ, have you checked out Stillen's website? They show that T-REX has a mesh grill.

Clearbra is a definite for me!

Happy New Year to all!!

Leaving ours stock, one of the main reasons i bought the G35s was that it was good enough for us stock.

I'm tempted to get my wheels chromed, but I'm starting to think it may be too much bling for me. A local shop has them (sorry, I forgot the cost but I think it was either $600 or $800), but they get my cores in return.

I have a 07 sedan, ivory p, auto trans, premium package, took delivery on 11-24. So far I had the windows tinted, added a kicker sub, alpine v12 mono amp, and JBL GTO-607 component speakers in the rear doors to get better highs, major improvement in the sound quality. My interior is stone so I changed my floor mats to graphite (stays clean looking much longer and matches dash and upper door color perfectly) Thats it so far

The first thing I did after getting the car unwashed from the dealer was to have it clayed, had a 3M clear bra and installed and then the full Zaino treatment with 3 coats of Z5. I also used a whole can of 3M fabrique guard on the front and rear floormats. I love the Stone int coming from an 03 with Graphite int but I know it is going to show more dirt! I will probably add simple bolt on performance mods when they come out if I feel thier worth it but I don't plan to change anything on the exterior.

Did you buy your floor mats from the dealer? If so, how much? I've been wanting to switch to graphite mats (or all weather) for a while. Unfortunately, I took too long, because I accidentally spilled some sauce from some Thai take-out onto the rear right passenger carpet mat, and I have stone mats, too.

I'm thinking I should have gotten the black all weather mats for my Stone interior too. They grey look dirty all the time. Can you post some pics of your black mats with the stone interior?
