Drinking while driving

So I'm on the way to work today, driving briskly as usual while sipping coffee. Approaching an intersection, I notice the ubiquitous (around here) Ford F250 approaching way too fast behind me. So, to stay away from him, and admittedly because it's fun, went into the 90 degree right-hander a little hot.

Enter the turn, onto the gas smoothly - and just as I'm taking a sip, the rear end happily skitters out as the G likes to do. And there's a full lane of traffic right beside me. Uh...back off the gas a little, control the oversteer one-handed while completing the sip, and the rear happily jumps back in line. And I apparently spill a few drops of coffee on my pants.

They're brown pants - and this little piece of fun is still the highlight of my day

A real driver wouldn't have spilled any of the coffee!

90 degree right-hand turn? Those are my favorite!
I'm glad this wasn't a "drinking" while driving thread.

Hey Speed, Kyle increased the size of our avatars to 350 x 120 on Jan 4th. It was posted in the Premium Member Feedback section:

Did you also use your proper turn signals and adjust the climate control to 71 while making the turn?

I hope you had VDC off, otherwise it doesn't count.

Dude, give me some credit - with VDC it only counts if you correct with no hands

LOL!!

That's true.

Next time try to dip your doughnut in your coffee and take a bite while making that maneuver.
