Painted splash guards

Are these worth getting, and do

1. they provide any actual functionality?
2. they complement or detract from the look of the 07 sedan?
3. provided for front and back?

I ordered them for my 07, although I don't have them yet. IMO, they will reduce the amount of spraying rocks and other debris from hitting your paint, therefore less chips in your paint. Since the splashguards are painted, I feel they blend in nicely and compliment the appearance of the G. They come in a set of four so you'll have them for both the front and back.

I am not a fan of these for some cars (e.g. took them off my Max), but they look good on the Gs. And from what I can see that they catch, they do the job.

I don't recommend getting them if the car will be lowered. The clearance may be an issue with backing into parking lot bump stops and going over speed bumps.

It's kind of a toss-up b/c the splash gards are really helpful here where we have a lot of "junk" on the road during the winter. I think our local Infiniti dealer equips all of their cars with a "Northwest Package" which includes the splash guards, trunk mat, etc. I like the clean look w/o them, but if you live in a place that doesn't have the best road conditions, they might be worth the sacrifice.

The splash guards are the only one option I insisted when I ordered my G & I believe the '07's are even shorter than the '06's & come in all 4. Of course knowing how they stack the options I will be picking up my Lakeshore 6MT w/ premium, splash & cargo net (while adding the tint, wheellock, rubber mats & gold trim package) this coming Saturday.
