Joining the club!

Just picked up my Sport AT w/ Premium Package in Platnium Graphite. So excited that I didn't even do a through check at the dealer. I drive it home and I see they left a piece of hard plastic that's stuck on the bottom of the bumper. I'm too afraid to remove it in case I mess up the paint. Is it safe to just pull it off or should I go back to the dealer to have them remove it.

After almost 3 weeks of ownership, finally glad to share some pics. Used zaino for the first time. Let me know what you think

Finally! LOL j/k enjoy your G. If you don't feel comfortable then go back to the dealer and have them do it. Just watch them to make sure they aren't too careless.

I know how you feel. The night before my clear bra was intalled I was driving on Deerfoot Trail (Alberta Highway #2) and I took a rock from a semi. It left a nice little rock chip on my windshield, fortunately that only cost $15 to get it filled.

I drove my Accord to work today Better safe than sorry. The shop I plan to get it installed at isn't open this weekend, so I might actually have to take time off work next week to avoid waiting another week without driving it!!!

Also, do you guy use anything to protect the floor mats/ trunk? i"m thinking scotchgarding it or something. (Right now I have the paper maintence sheets on)

Congratulations!

Good luck with the Bra.

My opinion about floor mats is: They are floor mats and will get dirty. Take off the paper and enjoy them!

It would probably take a while for them to wear out to where they can't be cleaned. And when they do, you can get a new set (that is if you still own the car).

Congrats on the new ride.
I Scotchguarded my carpets.
Get yourself some winter rubber mats at the Dealers for the messy season.

Buy a set of Infiniti winter rubber mats for $85 or so. They hold up to abuse well and look good too.

Otherwise, for your carpets, just clean them and vacuum them often so that sand and dirt don't build up, which would otherwise increase the abrasion and wear them out faster. If they get dirty, you can safely throw them in the washing machine on medium with some detergent and they'll come out looking and smelling new!!

Good luck and congrats on a fine car!

Yup of all days, it decided to rain when I took delivery!! My salesperson was giving me a run through in the rains, opening my doors, stepping in (before I could put the paper mats in!!) Drove me nuts, but didn't want to say anything otherwise she'd think I'm a freak. (even tho i asked them not to mount the paint and not to wash it )

PS: This forum has made me VERY inefficient at work...
