Fog Lights On '07

Has any one changed out the stock fog light bulbs for aftermarket ones? I dont like how the yellow fog light turned on looks with the bluish hid lamp. Also is it possible to do the change? if so which is the best brand to go with? PIAA, SULVANIA??

I can see no improvement by having the fog lights on, so I just don't use them. Though I did adjust the headlights up just a bit and now visibility at night is superb.

Here in Canada the day time running lights are the fog lights running at 50% intensity, so it would be kinda cool if the fogs weren't so ordinary looking. I also found one night that the fogs, despite their unusual placement in the main headlight body, are quite useful in cutting through thick fog.

I thought only the Canadian cars are required to have daytime running lights, that's one thing we have to change on your cars if we want to import them in order to save some $$$.

I agree they do help in the fog. And I never use them otherwise. I do wish however that they were either better matched light to the headlights, or down below on their own and whiter light.

I love the way that the headlights physically look as is, so I woun't mind to find some replacement bulbs that are a closer match in colour to the xenons. I'll worry about that when the factory bulbs die.

I do not have the active headlights, and I would strongly advice against touching any adjustments if you do.

I had to pull both air boxes out and under them towards the fender is what looks to be part of the adjuster, I could not find the end to make the adjustment but because the car is new I could turn the gear itself with a small screwdriver. Parked the car on flat ground aimed towards a building and brought both headlight beams up just a little bit. There is another adjuster towards the center of the light, that is the adjuster for the fog lamp bulb, I tried turning that up a bit as well and still couldn't see any real improvement so I turned them back and left them alone.

Because the beam pattern of these HID's cuts off so sharply, aiming them up just a little bit made a large improvement.

The bulbs are easy to get to, you can still change them if you wanted.

like the M has it.... having it in the headlight casing is how I tell from a distance if a car is an M or an 07G.
