to me, if you're going for the luxurious look, the wheat/wood as long as it comes with the black dash and steering wheel would be the way to go.

for some reason, the black/wood just seems slightly misplaced. while is does look good, it just seems that a black interior lends itself more to alluminum trim for the stark contrast.

Watch out! That's a photoshop in Infinti's site. The wheat comes with a gray/brown looking dash that I really didn't like at all. I had planned on getting the wheat interior too until I found out the pic on Infiniti's site was a photoshop. Ended up getting stone (comes with black dash).

I like the graphite. IMO, they will look and last better in the long haul. I didn't particularly like the washi trim, so I went with the rosewood, which I really like.

Thoughts from those who have seen either option in person? Since I'll be ordering, chances are slim I'll get to see it myself before taking the plunge.

keep in mind that neither the wood nor the interior actually look like these photoshopped pictures. the rosewood is a flat, kinda matte finish. it's great if that's the type of finish you like.

The aftermarket products are beginning to spring up, search earlier threads to see some wood/faux wood finishes.

I was sold on the graphite... but seeing those last photos, I think the wheat is the way to go... looks more sophisticated and seems to all fit together better. I just found out a dealer an hour from me has the wood in stock - so I'll tak the trek this week to go see it for myself.

Thanks for all the thoughts, everyone!

The whole steering wheel, gauges, start button group moves up and down together when you adjust the wheel tilt. Thats why it looks like there is a gap.

I was leaning towards the wheat colored interior but when I sat in one, I was reminded of putty. I ended up liking the black better (partially because I started thinking about keeping the lighter color clean)

Some good photos showing colors here:

Eeekkk i don't know about you guys but... even with it photoshopped, having 3 colors... the wheat, wood and.. that dark color dash or even the grayish (reality) dash doesn't look that great... i typically like to stay with 2 colors / finishes instead of 3.

If that wood is matte then... i would either not get it, or I'll have it clear coated bceause I love the bright tan / wheat and wood finish in my SL, it's lovely but that's only because the dash is also the same color as my seats...

Just my opinion

Larry
