So there really might be a future VQ37TT sedan

LOL who is saying it is to fast for them? I think the G35 is the perfect luxury compact. I think the Sedan should be a G37 with 306HP(Increase the torque...) and a 6 speed automatic. The G35 is really very luxurious and technologically appealing, but for true enthusiasts it is less sporty than the 335i and the IS350 as well. I think Infiniti should have the coupe have a HP tuned 37 and the sedan should have some more available low end grunt...

I agree with you about the performance division.

A tamer version of this V-6, codenamed VQ37HR-TT, will make its way into the upcoming Infiniti G35 Coupe.

I think it's possible they will release a VQ37HR-TT for the G35 coupe with less boost and internals which aren't as good (or expensive) as the GTR. Say an NA VQ37HR makes 320hp, they won't need much boost to get it into the 400hp level. 5-6 psi should be enough and you wouldn't have to lower the compression ratio.

The version of this V-6, meaning the V6 in the GT-R, is codenamed VQ37HRTT. A tamer version without the twin turbochargers, lighter pistons, and connectings rods, as well as a beefed-up crankshaft will find its way into the new G coupe. This will most likely be codenamed VQ37HR. They wrote the paragraph this way on purpose to cause speculation. It doesn't really matter that much because we won't know exactly what is going to happen until April.
