I just walked through the door with the key to my new 07 G35 Journey with Prem, Nav, Tech in Lakeshore Slate and Wheat. The original deal I had in place was to pay 36,800 for the car and get 25,500 for my 05 coupe. The dealership had the new sedan transferred from another dealership and I actually beat the car to the selling dealership. When the sedan arrived I immediatly said that it wasn't my car, I specified performance tire and wheel package, and I had driven a hour and a half to do business and buy this car.... so, long story made short(er) the sales manager gave me $2000 more off to buy my own tires and wheels. So, I walked with the car for $34,800. Did I do OK?

and now... what wheels to buy? I really like the sport edition wheels, but if I am given money to go aftermarket, I feel like I should get something different. I would GREATLY appreciate the specs on the sport package wheels, I know they are 18" rims with 225s on the front and 245s on the rear, I am not sure of the width. I would also appreciate suggestions of what I could get for about $2000 and where! Thanks!

OH, and so far, I loved the first 90 miles getting her home!!!

Might be a stupid question, but did they give you the stock wheels? If they did, then you got $26 below invoice!! Great deal. If no wheels, still a great deal!

Yeah, I get to keep the stockers. They will be my winter wheels, since I am in VA.

NO suggestions on wheels? Will the same wheels fit the Sedan as the Coupe? Maybe none of these would even work? I was scouring ebay to get some ideas...

Not necessarily since the trade has to be factored in. It seems like a good deal but I don't know US used car values so its hard fro me to say.

If you like the stock look, I think that the new M35 stock rims would look really sexy on the new 4 door!

Here is the link to the other thread I started in the Wheels section. I am leaning heavily towards ordering these...

Congrats on your new ride. Do yourself a favor and don't ask if you got a good deal.. I'm sure your pleased with the deal or you would have not bought it. There is always someone who will say they got something better or cheaper.. Just enjoy your new ride!

Wheels...
That sounds like a very good deal. I don't know what type of wheel you are looking for but for the mesh type that is kind of similar to the stock sport wheels my suggestion would be Volk SF Winnings. Nice light forged wheels with a big lip that I have seen on 350Z's and they looked real classy. Volk's may need to be custom ordered so there may be a wait but they are sweet!
