Just picked up my new G35.

It came in a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.. I got a 07 G35 S A5 and premium, splash guards and cargo net.
It only had 10 miles on the odo. It's plat graphite with sand interior. Rides and looks nice!
I got it for $1K over invoice.. but I had a trade..
I was offered $18K for my trade from Carmax and every other dealer. I tried to sell it myself with no luck. This dealer gave me $21K for it. The Tax advantage was $614 saved. So I got a great deal.. Very pleased...
The only bummer is I have to take a 500 mile road-trip for work tomorrow and I won't be taking the G35... I want to break it in right and not of the interstate... bummer!

You can break it in on the Interstate.. You'll just drive everyone else crazy as you constanty go up and down from 50 - 80 MPH and shift between 4th and 5th all the time to keep the revs changing.

LOL. Thanks. If it's slower.. it sure dont feel that way.. I too am surprised that I chose the auto over the stick.. The auto just fits the character of the car better... IMHO.

LOL, I was just razzin' ya. I actually like the 5AT in my 07 much more than my 03. I think I would still prefer the 6MT, but unfortunately the wife can't drive a manual.

Don't worry about the break in. The dock workers at the port probably broke it in for you already have you seen them race 'em off the boat?
