This sucks. It's getting colder and colder. And every time it snows a half an inch, they dump loads of salt on the roads....looks great on the car.

Funny, haven't seen any such thing here...
That white fluffy stuff makes it a lot easier to snowboard.

I've got the same tires, they are awesome for going anywhere anytime. They even look better than the stock tires. just look sportier.

Actually, we do have some of that white fluffy stuff here too. If we go up to Mauna Kea on the Big Island, we can snowboard our way down the side of a volcano then come down to the beach and surf some waves!

Gotta love it!

I've left the stockers on for out winter, since we recently had a dump of snow, I've been excited to see what the X can do in these conditions.

I must say, I'm mightily impressed. The car just sorts itself out. I hope I don't get too used to this

Its really just a waste of my time to bother with snow tires in this climate. In Northern Canada maybe. But the one or two days (maybe) that the ice gets bad enough - then its bad enough for everyone and I will work from home. Otherwise the roads are treated and its gone in 18 hours where I'd be back to shredding the snows on dry pavement. Whether the snows do me marginally better on ice is one thing - its the rest of the idiots on the road that are the problem. Driving isnt a problem on ice - its stopping. So when all the retards around me are driving their SUVs 100mph because they think they own the road and can stop on a dime, those are the guys that are going to plow into you doesnt matter how good you can drive. So on those days I stay home. All other days the all seasons do more than enough work.

Depends on the climate, but in Northern Virginia its overkill to have snows on an AWD car. RWD different story.
