has to be ripped from cd, which kindof sucks. It does at least rip faster than it plays so you don't have to listen to the whole cd to get it done.

It's possible I would just have to pull the driver from the bag and it will fit though.

 

I've already tested this and I was able to fit 3 golf bags in with no problem.

 

3?!@?! I find that hard to believe. Im not calling BS but I need to see a pic of that to believe it. I cant fit 3 sets in my A4 and my trunk is huge. 3 sets fit in my dads 300c but that was designed to fit bodies.

 

How did you get 3 golf bags in the trunk? Did you have any space for luggage after that?

 

Fitting 3 golf bags was quite easy actually. If I had a fourth golf bag, I am confident that I could of got that in as well. As for luggage, if you putting in multiple golf bags in the trunk, you won't be able to put in any large pieces of luggage.

 

 

Thanks for the pic post. Thats a pretty decent loss in angle for being able to put stuff in when thats there. Guess I can definitely live without the nav.

 

Maybe the pic is a bit exaggerated - it really doesn't get in the way that much.
But if you're looking for a reason to NOT get NAV, then I guess this is one.

 

I can fit two bags in easily with the disc changer and all, I can see fitting three. Its not ideal thats for sure. I still plan on getting a quote for chopping the changer out, remounting it on the floor and smoothing over the liner.

 

When do you pile up stuff that high in your trunk that it's be a problem?
Seems like losing the total depth would be worse than the changer wart...

I stuffed 5 bundles of firewood in there the other day and still had room for a step stool and some other crap I had in there.

The conversation 'should' be, damn this is one massive trunk on a sport sedan. And looks like an optical illusion when you open it. It's a lot larger than it should be when you look at it from the outside.

Hell, I could fit 2 or 3 mother-in-laws back there.

But then again, I'm a "trunk is half full" kinda guy.

 

Its not that, its the fact that the opening is not only narrow but its very limited in terms of the angle of inserting things. If you have a wide flat box, you have to slide it over the edges of the front of the trunk and then through along the top of the trunk. If you have that changer bulge, that pushes the angle for the box to slide in further down and if you dont have enough room, it will just hit the bottom of the trunk. Theres no fold down seats which irks me and Ive been trying to look past, I dont want to lose less usefullness in the process.

 

A box that wouldn't fit past that bulge wouldn't fit in that trunk.
It's only 3 inches. I mean, come on.
