I've rotated my tires three times now and never had a problem. I looked at the service manual today and I believe you can remove the connector labeled M91 "tire pressure warning check connector" to keep the light from coming on. ('07 manual shows a similar item labeled as "switch" M23 connector.)

I have been studying this because I don't want to spend the money on sensors for summer wheels.

Any thoughts?
Hmm..., interesting. And this connector is where...?

Jeff,

Stop by the dealer for a 10 minute recalibration. They did that for me along with change my mismatched tire while I had their coffee and biscotti in the service waiting area.

The factory typically overinflates the tires for delivery and theey're probably calibrated to the increased pressure at that time.

The dealership is 10 minutes from work so I'll do just that.
Thanks!

I believe the connector goes right into the Body Control Module under the driver side footwell cover. (on 2004 anyway)

I know im bumping up an old thread, but has anyone been able to figure out how to turn the TPMS light off ? It just bothers me having a warning light on a brand new car just for getting new rims.
