Just purchased an 07 Sport AT and have a ?

I just traded my 2005 G35 Sedan AT Sport/Premium/Nav for a 2007 G35S Sedan AT with Nav/Premium/Tech (blue slate/graphite) at Infiniti of Santa Monica. Apparently, there are very few blue slates in CA so it was quite difficult to find this one. The vehicle will be coming in Tuesday or Wednesday.

Here is my question; it is coming with color keyed splash guards and I am not a fan of them. Will it be easy to remove them? Will anything be damaged after they are removed?

I will post pictures soon after I get it.

Thanks in advance,
Neil

You may not want to remove them... They are very well integrated with the rest of the car.
They told me they could be removed without any issues.. but that was before they had my money... so who knows...
Congrats on the new 07

They are considered a "port added" item what ever that means. The one I saw at the dealer required the back tire to be removed so you could get to the screws from inside the tire well to get the back splash guards off. I couldn't tell if additional foam adhesive tape was used. I didn't check out the front.

I'm sure someone in this forum can chime in on this one.

I'd keep them, the really do protect the car well against rocks and road debris.

But as others have said, they are just fastened with a few screws and double sided tape.

Thanks for the info. I will mostly likely leave them on and live with them for a while. Maybe I will end up liking them. No matter what, it is going to be a fantastic vehicle and I am extremely excited to take delivery.

Keep them. They are like mini body kits...

If you remove them, expect drilling holes in the wheel wells right behind the tires.
