Competition SoundWorks in Artesia, CA

This is a good place to get your alarm system if you want a high tech dependable one. Competition soundworks is on the Viper Certified installation list. They have really good customer service. I got quoted to get the Viper 5000 (no remote start) for $550 with the trunk release. They won't do the remote start on Manual cars here. Another place i called does do the remote start, but the guy sounded a little shady.

I didn't go through with it because I need to save up some money, and also I'm going to try to figure out how to rewire the stock system to have the shock indicators for the windows. Because my car came with the Karr security system, but I opted not to have it. So a mechanic took about 10 minutes to remove it, but I didn't see him take anything out...I think he just disconnected the sensors and that's it!

So there must be a way to rewire everything.

btw, in my previous post, I mentioned Sound Advice in Mission Viejo, but they went out of business i think.

i went to california tint here in socal, they told me its very hard to install a remote starter onto the new sedan cause it has the push start.
here what i was told, inorder to make it work we need to get your spare key n place it in the car somewhere. but if we do so then your car will start all the time with the key hidden some place in your car . the new sedan is very complicated and will need some type of device that bypass this system. to their knowledge they dont know how/ think its impossible.is this true? ive read a few people that have done it to their G,so if anyone in socal have done it please let me know the place. btw its for a manual. thx

When i was test driving the new sedan last week the dealership had aftermarket accessories installed on their demo car. They had a Garmin Navi system and remote start installed. the remote start was $495 and worked with the stock key fob. this was at Fields Infiniti in chicago area.
