07 G35x loaner-thoughts and a question

Dropped my 05 off and actually received a 07 loaner. A part needs to be ordered, so I get to keep it overnight...not a problem!

• Easier to drive this car smoothly. The gas peddle is not as sensitive as my 05.

• The interior lighting is much nicer with the white/blue gauges.

• Acceleration feels about the same, though it's an X and my 05 is RWD.

• Really like the fact the removed the body side moldings and the dual exhaust gives it a sportier look.

• I wish the leather wrapped around the entire door handle-picky, I know.

• Like the push button ignition. My 05 has key scratches around the ignition...again, minor stuff, but adds to the cool factor.

• Quick question- how do you adjust the lighting of the gauges. Can;t figure it out and the car has no manual.

Now I just wish I could keep it a little longer : )

On the left of the RPM, directly behind the steering wheel. One has a picture of a gauge with a minus symbol, and one with a gauge with a plus symbol. Here is a picture in case... you know.. well you probably don't need it because you have the car... but whatever.

Don't you just slightly tap the button, without applying the brake? I don't really know, try it, but I think that's what the dealer said.

without putting your foot on the brake, just push the ignition button.

No brake, push once to use stereo, from here, you can push the button again and your dash will illuminate and you climate control will come on.

From off, if you want the illuminated dash and climate control, no brake, press the button twice.

You need to step on it again. I have driven an 05 RWD and the acceleration is nowhere near the 07x.
