Removing Visor Warning Label

Have any of you ever thought about removing the seat belt / airbag warning labels on the two sun visors, or have actually done it on another car? I'd like to get rid of mine. Does anyone know how?

I just did the label removal on my Z4M, with the hair dyer method...
>>>>I don't recall if the G label is the same or not<<<<

The heat needs to be on high.
As you heat it you need a scraper to work the label off
I raided the kitchen & found an appropriate tool (see pic)... it worked great.

I used isopropyl to clean up the small amount of residue.
I followed that with some 303 to condition the vinyl.
The process....

& the results

Might be tough to do on the fabric visor covers compared to vinyl ones.

True about our cloth visors. I was able to pick up the corner a little but was hesitant to go "all the way" for fear it'll look worse.

Agree. In CA, it's the law anyway.

Someone try it and let us know.

Did it on my Bimmer but visors were vinyl. Cloth concerns me. May end up looking like a mohair sweater.
