Service Engine Soon Light! 07 Sedan

I noticed this light on in 07 G35 sedan the other day. I didn't think much of it because I was due for my first oil change, actually way over due. So I take it to the dealership and come to find this has more to due with gas cap. While I was waiting I could over here the other service managers on the phone with people calling about a service engine soon light, I guess it's a common thing.

They added a new cap just to be sure and changed the oil, first one is free and every other I pay for. Just thought I would pass on the experience.

Actually, most modern cars that have the Engine Service light, will have it engaged if the gas cap isn't secured tightly.

The Sac Infiniti dealership threw in every other oil change free. I guess all new purchases get this.
